We began our lessons on our theme, 'On Our Doorstep' with St. Brigid's yesterday. We began the day by completing a Scavenger Hunt where the children had to go around the room and find a person who the question applies to, such as who was born in June? This was a great way for us to get familiar with our partner class.
Our main activity was to work with a partner and describe what we can see outside our window and then our partner drew it. This required a lot of listening and good descriptive words, to make sure it looked as accurate as possible!
