We've been revising the RUCSAC method for solving problems, and are working hard to apply it to our work. After having spent time working through a problem together on the board, we worked in pairs to solve a 'Stick it Together' problem.
Each person read the problem, and using a post-it, wrote out their working out. Once finished, the pair shared their working out with each other, comparing what they had done. Finally, they decided upon the right answer, solving the problem.
The class really enjoyed working together to solve the word problems.
