The school hosted a special evening for senior members of the community, many of whom have strong links with or personal experience of Ballykeel Primary school.
This 'Generation Celebration' was hosted by Mr Hughes and other members of staff. A delicious meal was provided by Mrs Bradley and her fellow chefs in the canteen.
A video of school life was shown and the audience had the opportunity to respond to pupil's questions about what life was like in Ballykeel years ago. There was also a quiz and a performance by the Ballykeel Choir.
Ballykeel staff thoroughly enjoyed preparing for this evening and spending time with older members of the local community.
We would like to thank all those who came along to the Generation Celebration, the pupils who helped to serve the food, and a special thanks to our canteen staff who provided the lovely dinner.
