On Thursday 30th March, P6 children from both Ballykeel and St Brigid's had the opportunity to meet Deepa Mann-Kler. Deepa is an artist who specialises in artwork which uses neon lights, and she brought along some of her bright creations to show us.
The children have been learning all about light this term so it was a real treat to get to see some of Deepa's sculptures up close and to find out about how they were made. The children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and were able to find out what inspired Deepa to choose neon lights to channel her artistic flair.
