Mrs. Montgomery held an information session for parents of P4 children. There was a good turn out considering many parents have older children who already take part in accelerated reader and are already aware of what it entails. Parents were informed as to what happens each term and how the children's progress in reading is recorded. Prizes are awarded to children who achieve set targets and they find this very motivational in encouraging them to read more and more books.
