Today we braved the showers and went to the Secret Garden to plant blueberry bushes in the new raised beds. Mr Moorhead helped us with the digging and talked to us about the different life stages of a blueberry bush. Then we started weeding the tiny weeds growing through the bark inside the garden. Finally, we tackled the 2 raised beds near the canteen. They were completely covered with dandelions.
After all this hard work, we went to the wildflower garden and cut some flowers to take home.
