This week is anti bullying week and we got off to a great start on Monday with our odd socks. We watched an online assembly that had some great songs and plenty of odd socks! We talked about all of the ways we can be different and how that makes us special, before we designed our own odd socks. We then used those socks to make a bunting for our classroom.
We have also talked about the power of our words and used two apples to demonstrate this. One apple had been spoken to with lots of lovely kind words but the other apple was bullied, look at the difference! This was a great way to show that we might look fine on the outside but on the inside we are feeling very hurt.
