Apple Harvest in P1KH
12th Oct 2018
We are fortunate to have had a bumper crop of apples in our school orchard this year. Mrs Henry took the children out to the orchard on a beautiful Autumn day, and let them all help to gather in the apple harvest! This was a very exciting and enjoyable activity.
Back in the classroom, we made good use of our plentiful harvest. The children helped to chop the apples up and add sugar to cook delicious stewed apple, which we enjoyed as a special treat at snack time. YUMMY! We also used the apples in art to make prints for our Autumn display.
