Ben is an extremely keen and competitive footballer and he is really missing being able to play the sport as part of a team. He realises it’s important to keep his fitness levels up so has come up with the idea to run a mile each day in March until he reaches 26 miles - a marathon! It was also his idea to do this to raise money for charity at the same time. Ben’s family have chosen the NI Children’s Hospice and they have been in touch and are very supportive of him.
