P7G Eggs-periment Results
We really enjoyed watching the eggs change in the vinegar. We couldn't wait to find out what the eggs were like. There was a strong smell of vinegar in the room when we opened the jars. We noticed lots of changes to the eggs.
The eggs in the vinegar had no shell left. The yolk and the white were held together by a fine membrane. This made the eggs squishy. The eggs in the coloured vinegar also changed colour.
We were able to burst the eggs using a knife. We noticed that some of the vinegar had moved into the egg. We also noticed that the egg yolks had become a bit firmer, just not a runny. The white of the eggs in the coloured vinegar had been dyed.
It was really interesting, and we loved this eggs-periment, even if it was a bit gross!
