On Thursday 16th March, the hockey girls took part in the regional qualifier for the Ulster Hockey Primary School Championships at Ballymena Academy. This was the first tournament for the majority of the team and they really showed off their great hockey skills! We started of our tournament by drawing with Broughshane 'A' and then Larne and Inver. Our next match was against Linn Primary School in which we won 1-0! Our final two matches were against Toreagh and Ballycastle. We drew with Toreagh but unfortunately lost our last match. We ended up third in our group which unfortunately wasn't enough to get us through to the semi finals. We are extremely proud of how the girls played and the great enthusiasm they had throughout the day.
