Harvest

This month in nursery we have been learning all about Harvest and the season of Autumn. The boys and girls have had lots of fun exploring natural materials that we have found outside such as different coloured leaves, pinecones, acorns and sticks. We have had the opportunity to learn more about autumn vegetables during our play and tasting some of these vegetable at snack time. Over the month we have experimented with lots of different art medium such as printing with vegetables, cutting card and making beautiful autumn collages with leaves and other natural materials. During outdoor play we have enjoyed going on leaf hunts, practicing our climbing skills and harvesting different root vegetables.
