Icy Animal Rescue and Health Action Heroes
We’ve been having lots of fun in Nursery learning about the changing seasons and winter especially with some cold, icy and snowy weather outside.
We really loved the opportunity to use our problem solving skills to save some of our animals from the ice. We used coloured water, special magic salt and hammers to dig them out. It was so exciting to see the ice melting and we were very proud when the animals all returned to nursery safe and sound after their icy adventures.
We also got to build our own Arctic world with sugar cubes and snow which gave us lots of lovely role play opportunities with the animals.
Last week we also enjoyed a visit from Amy with the Health Action Heroes - Mambo and Jazz! We loved learning about how we can make healthy choices with our food and exercise and the bean game we played was really exciting!
