The children had a fantastic afternoon at the pantomime in Belfast. However, due to human error, the snack packs were not ordered and the mistake was only discovered at the interval. The only thing the opera house could provide, at a minutes’ notice, was a small box of Pringles at £1.50 per tube. Rather than the children having nothing to eat, we took these.
We sincerely apologise for this error and for any children who were feeling thirsty by the time they made it home. The school had already subsidised the total trip by £379.50 (just over £1 per child), however should you wish the return of the £1 difference between the snack pack and the tube of pringles please call in to the office.
Changes for Next Year’s Pantomime
Each year we have to pay the deposit for the tickets in May and the outstanding balance in September. To minimise financial loss for the school, and to give you the maximum amount of notice, the following will be put in place:
At the beginning of May 2018 a non-refundable deposit of £10 will be required for each child attending the pantomime on Thursday 3rd January 2019
The remaining balance will be collected in September
