Intergenerational project with Glenravel Fold
On Tuesday 10th December, P5MA went to Glenravel Fold to take part in an intergenerational project organised by Radius Housing and Live Here, Love Here NI. First, we learned about the birds of Northern Ireland, then we made bird feeders using apple rings and seeds. The pupils also took part in a colouring competition and watched photos from the fold’s wildlife camera. It was a very well organised event, and the residents were delighted to see our pupils. They commented on how kind, friendly and well-behaved they were. It was lovely to see the residents and pupils mixing so well. At the end of the workshops we were given 3 bird feeders and seeds for our school.
More intergenerational workshops are on their way, so stay tuned for more news!
