Junior Football Update

Junior football continues to run on Thursday afternoons, from 3 to 4pm, for P4 and P5 children.  Mrs Ewart coaches the P4 children and Mr Fisher works with the P5 group. 

There are 13 pupils from P4 and 18 pupils from P5.  We are delighted to have seven very enthusiastic girls in the junior football club and they seem to really enjoy getting 'stuck in' with the boys.  Each week we begin with a warm-up, a few practice drills and skills work but everyone seems to enjoy the 'match' best of all.

The children are a really competitive bunch and they love to be on the winning team! They also strive hard to be picked to be 'Boy/Girl of the match.'   This can be won by scoring a great goal, making a spectacular save, being a good team player etc.
