Welcome to the ‘Junior Football’ page.
The Junior Football club is taken by Mr Fisher and Mrs Ewart and takes place on Thursday afternoons. All boys and girls in primary 4 and 5, who are interested in playing football, are welcome to attend. We meet at the rear of the school on the all weather pitch.
Required Kit:
- Trainers (old)
- Football socks/ Shin guards
- Shorts / Tracksuit bottoms
- T-shirt / Football top
- Warm top / Hoodie
- Light rain coat
- Woolly Hat (for colder months)
The main aim of the club is to include everyone and have fun! Each week the children will develop their skills in areas such as passing, dribbling, shooting, tackling, heading, controlling the ball etc. The session will always finish with a match to give the children an opportunity to employ these newly learned skills and to also just enjoy playing the game with friends.
We are always on the lookout for players who have the talent and confidence to step forward and play for the school team.
