May and June in nursery
It's term three already! following the previous two terms, we have more learning and enjoyment on the way... and hopefully some sunshine too! In May we will be paying particular focus to; Minibeasts, life cycles (butterflies and frogs), growing, road safety and the farm. We will continue with our Physical development and movement lessons each week - the children have been enjoying these so much :) We are also running 'Maths in a Bag', a weekly lending programme for children to strengthen their enjoyment of mathematical activities and to develop their understanding and abilities surrounding various mathematical concepts.
In June we will be focusing on; summer, holidays, sun safety, under the sea, and transitions. Hopefully we will be enjoying some warm weather and will be able to extend our learning experiences in the outdoor environment! We will also have our 'fun/sports day' and our annual trip to the farm. As always, we very much welcome you, the parents and carers, into nursery to take part in any of the areas of learning and sharing your expertise and join in with the fun in nursery!
