Alongside schools from around the council area, pupils in P5-P7 took part in Mid and East Antrim’s ‘Top Author’ election on Friday 28th March, as part of their annual Democracy Week. Promoted by the school council, who visited classes to share news about the event, children had the opportunity to research the candidates at home and to read some of their books in school.
The votes have been cast and are now with council representatives to count. We look forward to hearing the results!
