Friday was another fun festive day but this week there was a special emphasis of thinking about our mental health. We have spent a lot of time this term talking with the children about what mental health is and why it is important. The class have always participated so well in these activities and there has been great discussion. On Friday I wanted the children to think about themselves - what makes them special? The children always find it so easy to compliment each other that I wanted them to think about all of their own great qualities. After our discussion the children created acrostic poems using the word UNIQUE.
