Primary 6 played a weight loop game today and also two new games called 'Baker's Balance' and 'Gingerbread Match'. Gingerbread match was a very popular game. The aim of the game was to match the top half of a gingerbread man with the bottom half so as the whole gingerbread man equalled 1 kg. During Baker's Balance Primary 6 had to think more. They were given a board with a weight displayed on it and they had to choose 2 cakes which totalled to the weight on the board. There was some conversion work involved. Although the children took their time at the beginning of this game they were accurate in their calculations.
