Primary 6 matched fraction, decimal and percentage cards during Mad 4 Maths and then once they had mixed the cards all up they played a game of snap with a partner using the cards. They all enjoyed practising their times tables using the maths wraps. Using the iPads the children played a coconut ordering game. Weights were displayed on coconuts and the children had to put the decimal weight in order from smallest to largest. The highlight of the session was playing the division squares game. It was a 2 player game. The first player spun the paperclip ontop of the spinner and whatever number it landed on the player had to divide by the number shown on their board. The player had to look for a square containing the answer and then connect 2 dots. Player 2 took a turn and repeated the process. The aim of the game was to be the player with the most squares at the end of the game which belonged to them. This was a very noisy but very enjoyable game for Primary 6.
