P7G Moon Landing - Recount Writing
We have been researching all about the Apollo 11 Moon Landing in P7. We are going to write an interesting piece of writing about the event and publish it on Fronter.
In order to write a good recount, we had to investigate the features of recount writing and discuss how to plan a successful recount.
After we had completed our research, we discussed how to order our facts so that they make sense. We used the idea that paragraphs were a bit like shopping aisles to help us put everything in the right place. Sophie told us that she once had spotted tic-tacs in the freezer, so we decided to use that phrase when we had a fact in the wrong paragraph.
Here we are sorting everything out. We were very lucky to have a representative from NASA at the lesson!
