On Thursday 23rd January the team played two matches, both lasting 20 minutes with a break at half time. The girls played against Ballymena PS and Carnaghts PS. It was a great experience for the girls, especially those new members of the team. The first match was against Ballymena PS and the team lost (18-1). This was an exceptionally tough match as Ballymena had a very strong team this year! We won our match against Carnaghts (8-3) and were very pleased with this result. The girls played brilliantly and we know we have a few things to work on and practice more. We look forward to the coming matches and dates for these have still to be confirmed.
