Online Safety During Remote Learning
During this period of school closure, it is likely that children will be availing of technology even more than they already do. It is essential that parents/guardians think about Online Safety in their homes and talk to their children about safe practices.
To help, we wanted to remind you of a few websites and documents:
Ballykeel PS Website - ICT and Online Safety (this contains links and documents/helpsheets for parents about a variety of websites/games etc)
Last year the Dept of Education also launched the Safer Schools App (in conjunction with the INEQE Safeguarding Group). This is available free for teachers, parents/carers and pupils. Further details can be found on at oursaferschools.co.uk
Attached are our own Online Safety booklets, and some further information about the Safer Schools App.
