P1 Parents - Literacy and Numeracy Bags of Help
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are delighted to provide an opportunity for you to borrow some resources from school that will help you support your child's learning at home. We have made up over 60 bags of Literacy and Numeracy resources. The ‘Loving Literacy’ and ‘Mighty Maths’ bags of help are stored in the Library and can be accessed from 1:30pm – 2:15pm on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. This will begin next week on Tuesday 1st October. The chosen bag can be kept for up to a week, then returned and replaced for another. We hope that your child is encouraged to learn while having fun with these resources, as they are much like the ones used in school.
Mrs. McIlwaine, will be available to help you select a bag and will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding its use. You may want to come before the 2pm pick-up, or perhaps collect your child and then pop in. To access the library please make your way around the outside of the school and enter through the library door at the side of the building. This is a great opportunity to support your child as they develop important Numeracy and Literacy skills at a young age and we hope that you will get involved.
