We had a great time helping P1B write letters to Santa at the start of this week. The children in P1 had a P7 buddy who spent time chatting with the children about what they wanted from Santa. They helped them to sound out the beginnings of word using their Jolly Phonics. Every children drew a picture on their letter and signed their name. Both classes loved the experience!
But, the excitement didn't end there! Santa made an unexpected stop at Ballykeel last night to deliver a letter to each child in P1B! He made quite a mess of their classroom, leaving snowy footprints all over the place!
Hopefully all the children in P1B will be on the Nice List! Merry Christmas from Santa's Little Helpers!
