The children were introduced to tens and units today and how we use them to make numbers within the 100 grid. The children listened very well and quickly grasped the concept of how to make numbers with their tens and units blocks. They were able to use their knowledge of counting in tens to help them work out answers. Once confident making numbers we will move on and learn how to add and subtract tens and units sums. Great work in Numeracy today P3!
