Today the children were problem solving in Numeracy by using good skills in adding and their knowledge of number bonds. They used good map work skills to identify key features on 'Skull Island' and then calculated the time taken to travel from one destination to another. In the final part of our lesson the children had to unlock padlocks using the correct combination of numbers. I was so impressed by the excellent thinking skills displayed in the classroom today!
