This week we took the children out to the school gate to take a survey of the number of different vehicles which passed by our school in ten minutes. The children recorded their findings using a tally chart. After ten minutes we came back to the classroom to discuss our results. The most popular vehicle on that day was the car and 30 of those passed by in the 10 minute window. The children really enjoyed going out to do the survey and asked if we could do it again at another time. Great idea P3!
