As part of our Let's Set Sail theme we had a visit from Translink today. We learned all about how to be safe on buses and trains.
On the Safety Bus we learned how to signal to the bus driver to get on and off a bus, and also how to behave on the bus to show respect to other passengers and the driver.
Keith and Garth spoke to us about safety on the railway. We saw pictures of level crossings, different kinds of trains and learned lots of interesting facts about them. Translink gave all of the children a train to assemble which can be used as a money box or piggy bank. Altogether a very interesting visit!
