Today P5BE enjoyed a special workshop taken by Catherine and Mary from Sensory Kids. We talked about how we all have similarities and differences, and we learnt about what autism is. We talked about how children with autism might express themselves differently, and learnt how often people with autism have more sensitive senses and so may react differently to some situations. However, people with autism are still the same as you and me in lots of ways. We all had lots of fun, and hopefully learnt something important about what autism is, what it means for people who have it, and how we can be a good friend to someone with autism.
