P5BE visit All Saints’ Church
On Tuesday P5BE visited All Saints’ Church in Ballymena, together with out friends from Miss Graham’s P5 class in St Brigid’s. We began by looking at the outside of the building and drawing a picture of it. Then we went inside and Miss Graham spent time talking to us about the different features of their church. We labelled some pictures and drew some objects. Finally, we talked about the similarities and differences between All Saints’ Church and Ballykeel Presbyterian. We learnt that whilst there are differences, a lot of things in the two churches are the same.
The tower of All Saints’ church is one of the Seven Towers of Ballymena, and we look forward to learning more about the other towers when Miss Graham and her class come to visit us next week.
