On Monday we started a new method of teaching and learning spelling. First, using whiteboards and pens, we first learn the new words individually, using the "Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check " method.Then, working in pairs, the pupils take on the role of "mini teachers"! They dictate the spellings to their friend, mark their work and give them spelling corrections if needed. Our class finds it a very enjoyable way of learning their spellings. We hope to see an improvement in Friday tests and class exams thanks to this method.
