The children have been learning about light as part of our theme 'Lighten Up'. For their first piece of art related to this I asked the children a simple question...what does light look like to you? I gave them some key words to think about including, shape, form, pattern and colour, and they brainstormed ideas together. They then decided on which materials they would use to help best create their 'Light' art. It was difficult for some to know where to start and so we looked at some Light based artwork to give them ideas. I was so pleased with the finished pieces of art; they are all unique, creative and light! I hope you agree!
