We had lots of fun getting to know the P7 class from St Brigid's on Monday. We played a getting to know you Bingo game, so we could find out about our new classmates.
Our joint topic this term is Hunger, all about the Irish Famine. Our first challenge was to work in teams to build a jigsaw of a drawing related to the Irish Famine. Once built, we made notes about our thoughts on post-its: our feelings, our questions, what we could see and what might be happening.
Using an app, we captured a picture of these notes. Using mirroring, we were able to show the jigsaw pictures on the board alongside the post-its. This allowed us all to see the different drawings we had been working on, as well as giving us a chance to discuss our thoughts.
