Using cut out artwork from Matisse as inspiration, we worked in two groups to large scale collaborative pieces to represent the Rainforest. We discussed movements, sounds, feeling, shape and pattern found in the rainforest and 'drew' with scissors, like Matisse, to create our pieces.
We enjoyed working in such large groups, but sometimes we found communication across 13 pupils a bit tricky. However, we are so pleased with what we produced!
