Part one of our postage investigation was to estimate and then weigh parcels using analogue and digital scales.
When we were finished we discussed how our estimating improved as we worked through the challenge. We felt that the analogue scales were harder to use as they were not as accurate. Each time we weighed a parcel we had to make sure that the pointer was at zero.
We all found that the digital scales were easier to use and that they were more accurate.
The next part of our challenge will be to calculate the postage cost for each parcel, depending on weight and destination.
