This afternoon we finished off our abstract space art by drawing, colouring, cutting and sticking our rockets to the backgrounds we created last week. We chose whether we wanted to use chalk pastels, oil pastels or wax crayons to colour our rocket ships. Finally, they were mounted on the backgrounds using folded cardboard to give a 3D effect. We finished off by turning our classroom into an 'art gallery', where we walked around the room to view one another's finished work, and sharing what we liked.
