Soda Bread Flour Pancakes
225g / 8oz soda bread self raising flour
75g / 3oz caster sugar
1 egg
300ml / 1/2 pt of buttermilk
- Grease and heat a griddle pan
- Sieve flour, add sugar & beaten egg, mix quickly into batter adding buttermilk gradually
- Pour into a large jug and pour out small quantities onto a well greased and heated griddle
- Turn when heat bubbles burst on top side
