People who help us in Nursery
We were very lucky this week to have two exciting visits from some people who help us in our community. The first visit was from our lovely school cook, Mrs Bradley. She told us all about her job at our school and all the work she does to make our lovely dinners each day. She also talked about how we can keep safe in kitchens and showed us some of her special equipment and clothing. We even sang a special song about all the people who help us for her.
Today, we had a visit from Doctor Ritchie. He brought along a friend of his called Rufus who wasn’t feeling very well and he showed us how he helps people. He used his stethoscope to check Rufus’s heart and lungs, the thermometer to check his temperature and gave him some medicine to make him feel better. Doctor Ritchie also told us about a very special number that we can call in an emergency.
