This week in the Great Outdoors club, we went to the Secret garden to plant over 180 flower bulbs. Our school caretaker, Mr Moorhead, had prepared the ground for us and dug mini trenches in the ground. Can you see the mini trenches in our photo? Then Mr Moorhead showed us how to plant each bulb- sometimes it is not easy to see where the top of the bulb is!
We planted bluebells and daffodils, then Mrs Allen showed us how to plant tulips in pots in preparation for spring.
it was a very busy hour, but we know it will be all worth it next spring!
