The time of year has come around again where our Primary 7 pupils begin to think about transferring to a Post-Primary School. We recommend that you take time to visit each of the schools on their Open Night or Open Day. Below is a list of dates for the Open Nights/Days for some of the Post-Primary Schools in the Ballymena Area where our pupils usually transfer to.
Dunclug College - Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th January, 7.00pm
Ballymena Academy - Wednesday 11th January, 7.00pm - 9.00pm (for those attending Primary Schools within 3miles of Ballymena Academy)
Cambridge House Grammar School - Saturday 21st January, 9.30am - 1.00pm
Cullybackey College - Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th January, 7.30pm
Slemish Integrated College - Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th January, 7.00pm
School criteria is used for selection processes. School criteria may differ between schools. It is important you read school criteria and demonstrate on the application form how it is met. Click the School Criteria Document link below to open it.

You will have an opportunity to discuss your child's Post-Primary choices with your child's teacher and/or Mrs Sheeran. We will send home the Transfer Application Forms in the next term, which once complete, you should return to school for us to forward the the Education Authority.
