The children were given a Numeracy challenge in which they had to use good problem solving skills. The challenge was called Block Street and the children would have to assume the role of Bob the Builder. We had two building teams and each team had a set of rules to follow in order to design Block Street correctly. The children discussed the meaning of logical thinking and how to order the steps they take when approaching this challenge. The children really impressed me with their thinking skills today!
