Safer Internet Day 2021
Tomorrow (Tuesday 9th February) is Safer Internet Day (SID). Every year in school the pupils will take part in activities linked to the SID theme and general Online Safety. Attached is some information about SID 2021, websites with information for parents and websites with resources for using with children of different age groups.
As pupils are learning from home at the moment, UK Safer Internet Centre have put together two virtual assemblies for pupils to watch and participate in. We would encourage parents to watch along with their children and talk to them about general Online Safety. The links to these are below.
Online Safety is especially important at the moment with children being at home and possibly using the internet/related technologies more than normal. If you require any other advice or support, please check out our ICT page in the Parent Area of the website, or contact school and ask to be put in touch with Mrs B Esler or Mrs J D Thompson.
