We spent some time drawing our self portraits, using mirrors to ensure we captured every little detail of our faces. Once finished, we put our pictures into plastic pockets and practised completing 'single line' drawings by drawing over our self portraits and onto the plastic pockets. Once the pen touched the surface, we couldn't lift it again until we were finished! We then put our skills to the test by completing new single line self portraits directly on to paper.
