Shape is one of the Elements of Art and we have been looking at how to create different shapes. We took time to observe the display of fruit in the middle of the classroom. We choose the type of paper we wanted to use for our still life and the type of medium i.e. chalks, crayons, pencils, oil pastels or felt tips.
Then we set about creating our still life. It was amazing to look at how different each person's artwork was given that we were all looking at the same thing!
