A big welcome to our new Ballykeel SUPERHEROES! We enjoyed our first day at club reading the storybook Handa’s Surprise. We talked about the country that story is set in. The book is set in Kenya so we looked at some photos from Miss McGlaughlin’s friend. Her friend Janine has visited Kenya and helped to build a school there. We then tasted some fruits from Kenya that are mentioned in the story.
