Our pupils face many different challenges both at school, at home and with their peers so I would just like to remind everyone that I will continue to be available for Talk 2 Me Time on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes.
All children are able to make of this service however it is mostly used by the children in Key Stage 2. If a pupil is feeling lonely in school, afraid, angry, worried or anxious on an ongoing basis we would encourage him or her to use the Talk to Me box. There are little notes and a pencil on top of the box where the children can write down their name, class and their particular worry or concern. The children can post these notes in the red box which is opened and checked by Mrs. McIlwaine each morning. If Mrs. McIlwaine finds a note of worry or concern, she will chat with the child to arrange a suitable time to meet in order to discuss their notes and hopefully find a way to help.
