We took part in the RSPB Big Schools Birdwatch! We spent some time learning how to identify common garden birds during the first few weeks of club, then armed ourselves with binoculars, clipboards, ID books and spent an hour observing nature at its finest! We spotted many garden visitors, and then sent our results off to the RSPB. The RSPB is a conservation charity, who relies on this information each year to find out how species of birds are faring across the British Isles. We are scientists and conservationists in the making!
